Kadhai Paneer Recipe
Preparation time- 30 minutes
Serving- 5
INGREDIENTS:- For Kadhai Masala:
- * Dried fenugreek leaves (कसूरी मेथी) - 1 tbsp
- * Black pepper (काली मिर्च) - 1/2 tbsp
- * Cumin seeds (जीरा) - 1 tsp
- * Dry coriander seeds (सूखा साबुत धनिया) - 3 tsp
- * Dry whole red chili (सूखी साबुत लाल मिर्च) - 3-4
- * Salt (नमक)
- For Gravy:
- * Oil (तेल) - 2 tbsp
- * Bay leaf (तेजपत्ता) - 1
- * Cumin seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
- * Onion (प्याज) - 1 chopped
- * Ginger (अदरक)
- * Garlic (लहसुन)
- * Tomatoes (टमाटर) - 3
- * Green chili (हरी मिर्च) - 2
- * Kashmiri red chili powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1
- * Garam masala (गरम मसाला) - 1/2
- * Roasted cumin powder (भुना जीरा पाउडर) - 1/2
- * Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) - 1
- * Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
- * Salt (नमक)
- * Kadhai masala (कढाई मसाला) - 1 tbsp
- * Water (पानी) - 1/2 cup
- * Dried fenugreek leaves (कसूरी मेथी)
- * Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ती)
- For Paneer & Veggies:
- * Oil (तेल) - 1 tbsp
- * Onion (प्याज) - 4-5
- * Capsicum ( शिमला मिर्च) - 1
- * Cottage cheese (पनीर) - 200 grams
- * Kashmiri red chili powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
- * Kadhai masala (कढाई मसाला) - 1 tbsp
- * Dried fenugreek leaves (कसूरी मेथी)
- RECIPE:
- For Kadhai Masala, take a pan, put some Black Pepper, Cumin Seeds, Coriander Seeds, Whole Dried Kashmiri Red Chilies and Salt. Roast them on slow flame and then keep them for cooling down. Grind the roasted Spices coarsely and the Kadhai Masala will get ready.
- In a pan, put some Oil, thickly chopped Onion, Capsicum and roast them on slow flame and then put the Cottage Cheese, some Kashmiri Red Chili Powder, Kadhai Masala, crushed and dried Fenugreek Leaves and cook them all.
- For Gravy, take a pan, put some Oil, Bay Leaf, Cumin Seeds, finely chopped Onion, Ginger and Garlic in it and saute them. Then put some finely chopped Tomatoes, long chopped Green Chilies, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder, Garam Masala, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt, and Kadhai Masala. When the gravy releases Oil, put some Tomato Puree in it then cover them and cook them all on slow flame. Then put some Water, Dried Fenugreek Leaves and cover it and cook it for 2-3 mins. Then put the roasted Cottage Cheese, Onion and Capsicum and cook it for 2 mins more on slow flame by covering it. Garnish it with some Coriander Leaves and the Kadhai Paneer will get ready.
